"Certainly, the first reaction to Judith Jarcho's work," writes Darlene Davies of the Social Calendar, "is to the almost indefinably rich hughes on her canvases. Pure, saturated colors add great variety to her paintings, whether those paintings are part of a still life series, New York scenes, New Orleans collections, or her well known series of paintings of dogs. Whatever the subject, vibrant colors dominate the paintings.
